XSSI set directives

This directive simply sets a variable.

Basic syntax:
<!--#set var="somevariable" value="the_value" -->

How to insert a new set directive
To insert a new XSSI set directive at the cursor's current location in your document, either choose "XSSI set" from the Insert menu icon in the XSSI category on the floating Object palette. Simply type the name of the variable you want to set or choose an existing one from the list, then type a value for the variable, and click "OK."

Note: all variables that are set in the document will appear in the list. In addition, if any environment variables have been set using the Set Environment Variables command, they will appear in the list as well.

When you click "OK", an XSSI set directive will be placed into the source of your document.

How to change an existing set directive
To change an existing set directive, select the directive by clicking the
invisible element icon or by clicking within the directive in the HTML inspector window. When you do this, the Property Inspector for XSSI set directives will appear. It looks like this:

Here, you can change the variable to be set and its value, just as when you created it.
